The integrated circuit is a CMOS audio amplifier for portable application, to be supplied from a 1.1-1.6 V small form factor battery. The IC was designed for medical application, in particular hearing-aid devices oriented for low budget markets, but it is readily employed within many portable devices as well.
The amplifier, specifically designed for very low cost applications, features excellent audio performances and merges customers positive feedback to cheap production costs.

The die area is 1.5-mm2 in a digital 0.35 CMOS technology and can be packaged on demand.
